New Jersey Principal of the Year Program: Rewarding Visionary Leadership

The New Jersey Department of Education, NJPSA and Educational Testing Service (ETS) have worked jointly to develop the New Jersey Principal of the Year Program: Rewarding Visionary Leadership, which recognizes outstanding principals. Contingent upon available funding, selected principals receive a $5,000 award that may be used to leverage school–based improvements or to support professional development opportunites for the recipient or other district staff members. NJPSA Golden Lamp Awards

Completed applications must be received at NJPSA by March 1, 2008.
The NJPSA Golden Lamp Awards for Excellence in Educational Leadership recognizes members who create excellence in New Jersey schools — those leaders who manage the talents and assets of our schools to provide a superior education for our children. Any member who serves as a vice/assistant principal or supervisor is eligible for the Golden Lamp awards. The NJPSA Awards Committee will select the deserving members from the materials submitted by the nominees.

NAESP National Distinguished Principal Award
