School Leaders Continue to Make Their Voices Heard Beyond National Principals Month

Posted · Add Comment

Even though the month of October has come and gone, events and activities celebrating New Jersey’s principals and school leaders continue on!

NJPSA is proudly facilitating a Principal Shadowing Experience with the New Jersey Legislature. Already a number of principals have been visited in their buildings by representatives from the NJ State Senate and General Assembly, and were able to show their legislator firsthand the exciting things happening in their buildings, as well as share some of the challenges they face. The feedback continues to be positive from both the school leaders as well as the legislators, with all participants in the Shadow Experience reporting having learned something new, and connected through the mutual desire of how to best support student achievement and growth.

If you are interested in participating in a Shadow Experience, please reach out to the NJPSA Government Relations team:  Debbie Bradley, Director of Government Relations dbradley@njpsa.org or Jennie Lamon, Assistant Director of Government Relations jlamon@njpsa.org
