Hopefully by now, if your district is enrolled in the SEHBP for your health benefits, you are aware that open enrollment has begun and runs through October 31st. The link below will take you to the open enrollment page where you can find rates, calculators and summaries of the plans. Active members will see an increase of 8.1% (8.4% if you also have your Rx plan through the State). This increase becomes effective on January 1, 2017.

Contrary to statements by the Governor, the increases are due to experience factors related to Active members. In fact, Early retirees saw no increase and Medicare eligible retirees saw a 5.4% reduction.
