State Board of Ed Announces Public Hearings on NJ Academic Standards

The State Board of Education will hold three regional public hearings to receive comments on the draft revisions to New Jersey’s academic standards in mathematics and English language arts (Standards Review Committee Releases Recommendations & Grad Requirements Considered At January NJ State Board of Ed Meeting, January 13, 2015)

To weigh in, individuals must register to speak by calling the Office of the State Board of Education at (609) 984-6024 or via the Department’s online registration web page.

The public testimony will be considered for incorporation into the final revisions to the English language arts and math standards that will be presented to the State Board of Education at a meeting on May 4, 2016.
