NJPSA Announces New Slate of Board Officers and Members for 2025-2026

Dr. Karen Bennett, principal of Lovell J. Honiss School in Dumont and president of the New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association (NJPSA), proudly welcomes the newly elected officers and board members who will begin their terms on July 1, 2025. The slate was formally approved by the members during the Membership Meeting on March 21 at the FEA Conference Center in Monroe, NJ.

NJPSA extends its deepest gratitude to all members for their unwavering dedication to student learning and their tireless efforts to strengthen the education profession. The association is built upon the passion and commitment of its members, who work every day to inspire, lead, and advocate for the success of New Jersey’s schools. As NJPSA looks ahead, it celebrates the newly elected leadership team, who will guide the organization into the future with vision and determination.

Leading NJPSA through the upcoming school year will be Joseph Spoltore, assistant principal of Cumberland Regional High School, who will assume the role of NJPSA President.

Joining President Spoltore in leadership will be the following officers and board members:

  • Jennifer Lowe – President-Elect

  • Kimberly Clark – Vice President

  • Nubeja Allen – Secretary

  • Diane Pistilli – Treasurer

  • Cara DiMeo – Board Member

  • Remi Christofferson – Board Member

  • Anthony Scotto – Board Member

Dr. Bennett expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to serve as NJPSA President and for the collective efforts of the entire membership. “It has been a privilege to work alongside so many passionate and dedicated educational leaders who give their all to their schools, students, and communities,” Bennett said. “I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together. I have no doubt that Joe Spoltore and our newly elected officers and board members will continue to elevate NJPSA’s impact, advocating for and supporting school leaders across New Jersey. I look forward to continuing my service to this outstanding organization and to supporting our members in any way I can.”

NJPSA Executive Director Karen Bingert extended her heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bennett for her outstanding leadership and commitment over the past year. “Karen Bennett has been an extraordinary advocate for our members, leading with vision, strength, and an unwavering commitment to educational excellence,” Bingert said. “Under her leadership, NJPSA has continued to grow as a powerful voice for New Jersey’s school leaders. We are incredibly grateful for her service and know that she will remain an invaluable part of this organization. I join her in welcoming our incoming leadership team and look forward to working in partnership with Joe, Jennifer, and all of our Board members as we continue to advance NJPSA’s mission.”

As NJPSA embarks on another year of championing school leaders and the students they serve, the organization takes pride in the strength of its membership and the dedication of its leadership.
