On July 17th the SEHBP Commission met to review and approve the Rate renewal recommendations made by Aon Hewitt. On average the SEHBP increase for Active members will be 10%. This increase reflects the impact of the following increases: 7.9% (single and Employee & Spouse ), 11.9% (Family), and 14.4% (Employee & children). The increase in both family and Employee & Children coverage is the result of an increase in the number of children who are now covered under the Affordable care Act (through age 26).
