Pinelands Regional Junior High School (PRJHS) Assistant Principal Dr. Kimberly Clark has been named one of two finalists for the national 2016 AASA Women in School Leadership Award, sponsored by The School Superintendents Association and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. As a finalist, Clark has been invited to travel to the AASA National Conference on Education in Phoenix in February 2016.
“We are very proud of Dr. Clark for her selection as an AASA finalist for their Women in School Leadership Award,β said Pinelands Regional School District (PRSD) Superintendent Robert Blake, Ed.D. βShe is very bright and works hard to improve herself for the benefit of our students and our district. She exemplifies these important traits of our terrific administration and staff at Pinelands Regional.”
There will be two awards given, one for those women at the principal level, like Clark, and another for those at the superintendent level; two finalists have been selected for each.While at the conference, Clark will be interviewed, along with the other finalists, who will be judged on their leadership for learning, communication, professionalism, and community involvement.
After the interviews, all four finalists will be honored for their outstanding leadership during the general session of the conference on Friday, February 12, 2016. Both winners will receive $1,000.
