The Christie Administration released the Education Adequacy Report (EAR) March 1, several days after release of State Aid numbers to districts (Christie Administration Releases State Aid Figures, February 19). The report outlines the methodology for any changes to the school funding formula that affect aid to districts.
NJPSA is currently reviewing the proposal and will be providing comment to it, and the Governor’s budget at part of the deliberative budget process. The Association is expected to testify before both budget committees the week of March 21.
