The State Board is beginning the re-adoption of the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards process this spring. Review of the first set of standards to be considered will include: Visual & Performing Arts, Comprehensive Health & Physical Education, Science, World Language, Social Studies, Mathematics and English Language Arts. The second set of standards will include Technological Literacy and 21st Century Life and Careers.
Public hearings for the first set of standards is listed below. Public hearings for the second set of standards will be scheduled at a later date. Sessions for the first set of standards will be conducted from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the following locations:
June 4, 2014 NJ Department of Education, Trenton, NJ for first set of standards
June 11, 2014 Gloucester County Institute of Technology, Sewell, NJ
June 12, 2014 Somerset County Office, Somerville, NJ
